My background includes a Ph.D. in early childhood development. I have been a trainer for 25 years, a college professor, and a mentor and validator for NAEYC’s accreditation system. My consulting practice involves training and technical assistance to Head Start and child care programs across the United States. I have been a validator, trainer, and consultant to military children’s programs both in the US and overseas.

I am also Assistant Professor of Early Childhood Education at Athens State University and continue to be involved in the Child Development Program at Snead State College where I began a series of on-line courses in Child Development in 2004.
